A bit of a 2-Parter! With the new playoff format, Zac and TJ give their takes on different scenarios that could play out.
Then in part two of our Central dive: we are joined by Ken Wiebe and Sean Shapiro of Athletic Winnipeg and The Athletic Dallas to talk topics on the Jets and Stars.
With Ken we talk Neal Pionk, what his future could look like and whether or not the Jets will chase one of the big market FA defenseman. We also go over the prospects in the syatem, and Patrik Laine’s growth this past season. There’s plebnty to talk about when it comes to Blake Wheeler as well.
Sean joins us to talk Prospects in the Stars system, the forward corps and their bounceback potential, what the Goalie situation could be moving forward and sheds some light on the proposed 24 team playoff format.
Both were great conversations, great dudes. Hope to chat again sometime, but for now we’re grateful to have had a chance to pick their brains.
